Can I tell you everyone at some-point has called me “Mikey” and ONLY because of that commercial. To this day, people still reference that damn “Mikey” commercial. That commercial has to be one of the most remembered commercials of all time…

And I hated, hated, hated and hate when ANYONE calls me “Mikey” ~ anyone except my Dad. He was the only one who could call me that and it did not bother me. He’d drag out the “Y” ~ “Mike-eeeee” and he’d always have a huge smile when he said it. Maybe it was just the way he called me it or because I think it had nothing to do with the commercial or because it was him. I’m not sure he ever saw the commercial or if he did that he’d even remember it. I actually liked it a lot when he called me Mikey!

Today would have been my Dad’s 75th birthday (he passed away 12 years ago). I miss him a lot & I really wish he was around to call me “Mikey” and to give me one of his big laughs ~

Posting something on Craigslist today & this was the Captcha I got….the funny part was I was toying with leaving out some of the information I was posting an ipod that didn’t work completely well, but I decided to be honest (or moral) and mention exactly how well it worked & offer up at a lower price. It was a bit of irony!

I have not posted in awhile so I needed a kick in the butt….Watched the Rose Bowl last week and was with some real hostile anti-Oregon fans… I found this odd because none of them went to Ohio State and most of them did not go to a college that competes against Oregon. They were all Washington residents & from what I gather, people from Washington do not like Oregon.
They like Oregon when they hop the border to buy big ticket items because Oregon has no sales tax. They like Oregon’s gorgeous coast, Oregon’s great micro brew, but they just don’t like Oregon. Oh, and as you can tell by the photo, their spelling isn’t the best!
Thank goodness my Badgers won their bowl game (and yes I actually went to the school I cheered on). Go Badgers!!!!
